Are moodboards a good contribution to an advertising strategy?


I get between 5,000 and 10,000 views on my Pinterest boards each month and I haven’t turned on any advertising on that platform yet or optimised my keywords. That might not be worth it to other authors, but I’m quite happy to have those eyes on my boards and the click throughs to my books.


Interesting. Are those views on Pinterest boards (which could be collections of a variety of imagery, including mood boards)? Or are the views of specific mood board images on your Pinterest boards?


That’s views on pins. From looking at the analytics on my dashboard there is no total of views per board, since Pinterest doesn’t work that way. It then ranks your pins so you can see which ones are getting the most hits.
