/5 : Technical things: This is the area I lack thoroughly. Because English isn’t my first language, it makes it even harder.

/5 : Grammar: How clear is the syntax and the sentences? How many errors do I make in terms of tenses?

/5 : Word Choices: Do I use repetitive or creative-yet-understandable words to describe the setting/characters/etc.? Are the words easily understandable or does it confuse you?

/5 : Organization: Is the information being placed in order or is it disorganized?

/5 : Clarity: How easy was it to follow the story? Is the information given understandable?

/5 : Creativity : The area that would be hard to determine— because, of course, everyone would be rather touchy about this. However, I would like to know how you find the story.

/5 : Plot: How eye-catching do you think is the plot? Does the plot seem misleading? How much does it interest you?

/5 : Characters: How do you find the characters? Do you find them relatable or interesting? (Feel free to list the character if you want)

grammar [ 8/10]
You have a lot of minor errors that need to be fixed but otherwise, your book is fine.

character engagement [ 9.5/10]
I’m happy to say, characters are doing their roles correctly; you have consistency with them (which is very important) AND they’re realistic.

book pacing [ 8/10]
The overall pacing is great HOWEVER, it seems to be getting slower and slower within every chapter you write. Careful with that!

structure [ 8/10]
Your structure is standard (not a bad thing), but you can add a bit of creativity to make it more appealing that it already is!

reader engagement [ 7.5/10]
This goes back to the part where I said your pacing gets slower and slower; it should be consistent. You might also want to add something hooking in each chapter (or at least to the newer chapters). I do think your plot will turn out amazing but other readers might not think the same because of what you have so far. On the bright side, your writing style is pretty addicting and might keep readers engaged. You did an okay job here.

cover [ 6/10]
I’m a bit confused, what does the rose have to do with the book? Also, the font really doesn’t match with the actual cover art, and you forgot to add your username to the cover. Someone might steal your cover so you might want to be careful with that. I honestly think you can do a better job than that.

Covers are pretty important, they help capture readers – your cover is decent compared to other writers but you might want to look through this article:Link

Okay I know this review might seem bad, but I’m just really harsh. Your book is AMAZING compared to other books I’ve seen on Wattpad. I hope you’re not too offended (if you are offended), I want to help you so I need to be harsh. I genuinely did like your book so I will definitely check out the new chapters when they come out

Could you be more specific on what you mean by structure?

Yeah, I agree my pace is getting slower. The next chapter ups the action but then goes back to being slow again. I just have a lot of background in order for the plot to make sense. It’s like game of thrones where the whole first season is explaining stuff lmao, so I will work harder to put in some more hooks

and yeahhhhhh I just really needed a cover so I threw something together. I know it’s bad, but no worries I have someone working on a better cover! It just won’t be ready until next week

If it helps, get rid of EVERYTHING that won’t help with the plot. I know at the moment it may seem like EVERYTHING is crucial, but that is not always the case.
