Do you write medieval fantasy romance? Share it with me! :^D

I make no promises to read anything, but searching for stuff through the filters hasn’t been very fruitful, and I crave me some good oldtimey fantasy romance demmit. :^)

Hi! If you post this in the Story Requests thread you’ll probably get more responses since people can’t recommend their own work outside of the Share Your Story Club. I posted there when I was struggling to find stuff to read and it was a really good resource for it.

Thanks for the tip!
Will be deleting this forum then, so it doens’t clutter- :>

You can’t delete a thread.
Only Mods are able to, but you are able to change the category.
Just click on thr pen next to the thread title and change it to #share-your-story:story-requests

Oh- :open_mouth:
Thank you! Will do!

No problem

Hey! So this thread doesn’t go to waste haha I’ve got an fantasy/adventure/romance that could be something you’re looking for.
If you find anything good let me know! I’m always keen for a good fantasy romance

Oooh, thank you! The guardian of Eldur look right down my alley! Will definitely be checking that one out. And I mean my biased lil self could always recommend checking my story, buuut well, its still in its early stages so not sure I can do that in good conscience. :joy:

My fantasy story is a romance and it doesn’t really take place in medieval times, but a made up world and there isn’t any advanced technology so it kind of, maybe does?

I’d love if you’d check it out. I only have the prologue right now but its a really good prologue in my opinion. I’d love your feedback if you do check it out

Well, when I say medieval fantasy I don’t mean it has to be true medieval. It’s more so that I’m not all that into your run of the mill modern fantasy and that’s what most people write. So don’t wanna be bombarded by that you know?

Also this doesn’t have anything to do with anything, but I’ve actually been to one of the places on your covers. Just interesting coincidence.

Oh cool  hello again then

I do quasi medieval fantasy. Bear of Farlathi is complete.

I also have Polymath, which is a Short Story cycle.

Most of my Short Stories are quasi- medieval.

quasi- medieval is perfectly fine with me
I’m not expecting historical fiction here :stuck_out_tongue:

Well I have an epic fantasy called Alorne, it doesn’t focus so much on Romance, which is just a subplot I am trying to work out. But I’d still like it if you wanted to check it out

Thank you!
Will take a look at it!

I’m writing a YA Fantasy - Set in medieval Ireland… the main focus is not the romance though, but it’s there!

The Isle of Ferrick

Thank you for sharing!
Again, romance doesn’t have to be the main focus, and honestly your story looks like something I might like. Looking forward to take a closer look.

Yay! You’re welcome! I hope you enjoy it

Hello! I think I have something you’ll like. Romance isn’t the main focus but it fits every other requirement (there is romance though, eventually lol)
If you do read it, I hope you enjoy! (I’m on mobile so if the link doesn’t work, let me know and I’ll post a different one)

I just started writing a medieval, fantasy and romance story. I’m updating it fast.

Romeo & Juliet: In The Realm Of Crystalia

Does true love exist? Someplace other than fairy tales, plays, and storybooks?

For better or for worse Juliet thinks so; even though she is a songbird without song. Just when she’s about to forever give up on her romantic dreams, she accidentally meets Romeo Montague at the grand ball.

It’s love at first sight for Romeo and Juliet, but will they ever be together?
