Trust Levels: What are they and how do they work

The Curos.

You likely have no idea what that word means, nor what kind of people they are - that would be because they aren’t people.

The Curos are the messengers and workers of Cupid. In Cupid’s stead they roam the world with the aim of spreading love - with over 7 billion people in the world, there’s no way even a God can help with every single issue. Curos 27 is one of these messengers, and he goes about his days doing the little things - with a touch or a move - that change the course of love. This is all done from behind a veil that renders him invisible to our eye.

It all runs without incident until he meets an anomaly - a woman by the name of Naomi, who runs her own café in a quaint little town. He is startled by their first encounter, but his curiosity gets the better of him and he decides to stick around.

He slowly gets to know her better and learns the reasons behind her unique sight past the veil. He becomes determined to help her fight against it so that she can be like all other humans once more.

But with all the twists and turns that his decision brings, who ever said it was going to be easy?

Dragons of the Pathways - Single Step

Pathway - a large set of roads, that towers over oceans and mountains, crosses the entire world, allowing it’s inhabitants to travel around and trade with each other. Controlled by dragons, the Pathway is a lifeblood for traders and diplomatic communications, though it’s usage for military transportation was restricted from the dawn of time. But even in a world with a wonder like this, wars and conflicts are very common to encounter and experience, since there are many races competing for valuable territory and resources, while also trying to deal with many other dangers of this world, be it from within…or from outside.

The story follows a forming group of individuals, who are entwined in series of events against their will. Dangers, secrets and riddles challenges them all, and only time will tell if they can work together, survive the events and uncover the truth.

There where the Light cannot reach to bring peace and prosperity someone has to step in and get his hands dirty.

The Wind That Raises Sand is a fantasy short story set in the magically advanced world where gods rule countries large as continents; where magic is taught in elementary schools; where magical races live side by side with humans.

Talib Khemhed is a henchman for the ruling god of Sandmearian Caliphate. His job is to go there where officials cannot go and do what’s needed to be done to secure peace. After spending a month on a vacation he receives a new mission. He is to rescue a kidnapped journalist held by a group of mercenaries in the Shemeweri Desert. In the land of long lasting sandstorms the Gods’ authority isn’t recognized and laws do not apply there.

And remember all feedback is appreciated.

The Last Philosopher is a high-fantasy story with heavy-handed attempts at humour. It revolves around the world of Huom and some of its quirkier inhabitants. It’s the first book under the subtitle, Nothing is Everything.
It has to-date won nineteen awards mostly for best fantasy, but also for best overall, humour, best female character, and special mentions for characters and character development.
It was also added to Wattpad’s official High-fantasy, Myths and Legends, Speculative Fiction, Dystopian & Apocalypse, and Multicultural reading lists.

Summary: Before everything, it’s assumed there was nothing. But what if the difference between the two was only in the extreme philosophies of how little or much one cared?
The planet Huom has been under observation by numerous forces for longer than should be possible. The primary watcher, a bitter black-hole, is excited to see that there is finally a proverbial Darkness at the end of the tunnel.
On the continent of Sojurut, in the freezing mountains of Empris, the sorcerers’ nation. The oldest living sorcerer suffers life threatening insomnia due to devastating nightmares. At the same time — far away in the sandstone desert of Zenon — a weird man is escaping a prison filled with old philosophers.

What does all this have to do with, arsehole Gods, hairy Dwarfs, frustrated Afreets, curious Gnomes, lizard-women, and nude Áettar? Perhaps Nothing, perhaps Everything… but why can’t it be both?

P.S for some crude hand drawn maps and infrequent updates you can visit my facebook page, Nick East. Also, since I recently finished the first draft of the story, I’m now looking for beta readers, for that dubious honour. PM me

Battle for the Photon Core

Amneris Topanga, the immortal Queen of Lyriumia and Guardian of the Photon Core, sealed away Enliatu, the Dark king, in Negative Space five thousand years ago. She always knew that there was a way to break the spell keeping him in his prison. Ten items were hidden across the multiverse, some in the most unlikely of locations, all with tricks and traps to stop them from being found. Were they to be discovered, Amneris could only hope they were found by the right people. Of course, this was not the case. Why would things be easy for the Immortal Queen?

A new threat has arisen to the throne of Terpola, the people of the Dark King. This threat wants nothing more than to destroy Amneris, but immortals can’t be killed. Or can they? Hearing this from an unlikely source, Amneris and her Court set out to recover the items that were hidden away so long ago, meeting some old enemies along the way and teaming up with the most unlikely of allies: someone who was close to the new Queen of Terpola who has never agreed with her plans.

The Court of Lyriumia sets out on a mission with one goal in mind: Stop the Terpolite Queen before she releases the man who would quite easily destroy the multiverse. Not that Amneris couldn’t do the same, but that’s not important right now. Still, it does not take long for the Court to figure out that they got more than they were bargaining for on their mission.

“This family we created? We’re sticking together.” Hope declares before pecking his cheek.

“Aye boy, we’re together til the end. It’ll take more than a silly vampire to get rid of us.” Ali pipes up with a grin from his spot on the ground.

Trevor approached Bart and clasped their hands bringing him into a hug “Til the end bro. Don’t worry about us alright?”

Bart glanced around the rest of the room, Garrett nodded his head towards him, Sor offered a soft smile, and finally his eyes met Rena’s bright blues. She walked up to him and quickly hugged him before punching his arm, making him yelp.

“I told you not to worry about me so much Winchester.” She said with narrowed eyes before her gaze softened and held up her marked covered hand “Til the end.”
