This technically isn’t a short story, but I started a new story called Daya: Eternal Pursuit that only has 2 chapters out so far, so it’s a short read  I’d love some feedback on my new chapter!

Here’s my story that’s still ongoing! I want to see how people think of the prologue before continuing the series.

The description sounds interesting  I’ll have to check it out.

I have a completed sci-fi short story if that’s your kind of thing. It’s about 5k words, or 6 parts:

Depths

"Down here, life was scarce, and the creatures outside her bunker grew larger, lonelier, and hungrier."
A girl faces the darkness of isolation and the monster that's come to visit. 14-year-old Maya lives in a bunker at the bottom of the ocean. Even the scientists recording her every move can't predict she won't be alone for long.

I’m also on the same boat - I’ve written a short story that I’m thinking of making into a full book later too

If you have some free time, I’d appreciate it if you can let me know if my story is worth expanding as well, here’s the link: Ugly Fruits and Vegetables

I’ll check yours out now as well

Sounds like an interesting short story!
I’m currently writing a multi-chaptered but very short storytelling prose piece at the moment that is incomplete but if you’d like to take a look at something that’s a little different from your conventional short story feel free to take a look, comment, or message me.

Here’s a short one,still ongoing, I don’t think it will be much longer,maybe 2, or 3 more chapters.
It’s a New Adult Romance story, involving a depressed man, and a joyful woman who lacks self confidence, they’re both 32. I tried to challenge myself, even tho it’s the first story of mine that I publish, by creating a setting, that is completely unknown to me, because both of the main characters are from Estonia, and they’re into Accounting. And I’m a french dude who doesn’t know anything about Accounting.

Here’s the link of the story by the way.

This is short because its written in small excerpts of prose to tell the story.

A few days ago I found out about the National Geographic #PlanetOrPlastic writing contest and decided to write an entry:) It’s less than 500 words, though is an action packed piece about plastic!

Short summary: When I first went scuba diving, and saw what lay beneath the waters surface, I realized that our environment has to see change.

Thanks in advance for giving my book a shot.

TITLE Therapy sessions of an almost functioning human

WHY I STARTED WRITING I’ve always felt a need to write stories and I felt whole when I did. It is the only moment where I can do something I truly adore. Creating imaginary characters truly makes me feel alive even when I feel lost (usually at 3 a.m)
I’M HOPING for an honest review, no sugar coating
SUMMARY I’m starting this story where this girl tries to make her way through life while trying not to take the absudity of existence too seriously. Tell me what you think about it

"-I had a horribly busy day converting oxygen into carbon dioxide.

-Fair enough."

Here’s a little quote

I waved at her and made my way down the stairs and through the glass door of the bulding. I closed it, feeling the cold handle on my fingers and the crispy winter air engulf me in a warm embrace.
What a lovely day not to commit suicide, I thought to myself before heading to my house.
