The “glittering star” background is beautiful! How did you make it move?

I’m a sucker for visuals as I am an extremely visual person.
I created these banners, to show time passing in my story because I noticed my readers miss it when I just wrote it in regular text. And one of the things with my book is that the story is planned to last exactly one year.

I created them in Pixelmator, which is basically a much cheaper version of Photoshop.

And for the planned epilog:

I am considering switching the image for July and August around, so that I start with a bird-view of Central Park, and end with one too.

These are my character aesthetics for Olivia & Ricky’s Odyssey to Rock Bottom.
I created them on canva.com.

I do like how they came out  Besides, I’ve flattened the image already and can’t change them even if I wanted to :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for all the tips

This thread inspired me to finish a promo-thingy I started on a while back. I don’t know if I want to use it still.
It’s made on Canva, but I created the cover in the corner in Pixelmator.
