<img src="IMAGE LINK HERE" width=300 />

You can also upload your cover from your device using the “upload” option on the top bar and then hyperlinking your story link to the image.

@KatherineArlene @stpolishook how does this look? I’m sure our mdc folk can probably do a better job, but I can try and attempt to change the guidelines coding so that they’re compatible here?

I’m using the dark theme and the part with the blue bar - at the end of one week, etc. - is very difficult to read. Maybe we can get rid of the blue bar and just have it be bold or something.

Also, we’ll have to change the how to add an image part, and we should include that they can make their cover into a link to their story.

But otherwise, I think it’s good for now! I’m going to be creating some pinned threads to see how they look.

Noted! The image coding still works here, so it can be used if need be. Let me add the bit about making their cover a hyperlink.

Just testing story and cover coding

How has your experience been with it? My writing dark theme is different from my reading dark theme.

(okay, let’s do this)

Vivian Prince would trade her gossipy, secretive prep school for simpler life to avoid the pain. In fact, the only thing that seems to keep her sane is her love for art. One day, after a chance encounter, she decides to start her own web comic.

Yet, when a mysterious writer by the name Z offers to work together on an internet forum, she accepts his offer on a dangerous whim as her world spirals down a dark hole.

Fate. Internet. Murder. They intertwine, laced with poison, in a deadly chain that changes the lives of four extraordinary teenagers for eternity. For what is high school without a little bit of drama?

read it here:

same here

A women on a mission.

A man who has given up on life.

A police officer at his wits end.

Two women searching for the same goal.

And an innocent CEO dragged into the mess.

The question is :

Who is the victim and who is the criminal ?

The answer depends on you.

Excerpt (modified) :

"In the past 2 months alone, the number of unsuspecting men lured in by a currently unidentified woman and being castrated and having their penis cut off have increased to 21. Police are still not sure who the woman is or why- "

She threw her phone away in a fit and watched as it hit the wall and cracked.

Unsuspecting men? They make those vile creatures sound like innocent, helpless angels, she thought in anger.

An otherworldly presence asks an inexperienced writer to save humanity from mental slavery with her storytelling.

The writer refuses. She doesn’t want to die for a fictional story–a story about alternate egos existing in parallel universes living out the choices she could’ve made for herself, but didn’t.

A powerful secret society–the Debellator–would kill her and her alternate egos if she exposed the truth about reality to the world. Illusions and deceit have kept the Debellator in control for thousands of years. They’ve mastered the art of hunting–across parallel worlds–anyone who threatens their reign.

Luckily, the writer has allies willing to help her (and her alternate egos) slip between the parallel universes to stay off the Debellator’s radar. A sexy hunk, a wise mentor and a wicked martial artist are just a few of the unique characters fighting in her corner.

However, the writer’s most powerful ally is YOU–the reader. She can’t shatter the Debellator’s walls around human possibility without your participation.

Are you going to help the unlikely heroine by reading her story? Or are you going to let her take a bullet to the brain? The fate of reality depends on you.
