I’m not actually a fully developed woman. I suppose, depending on your definition, I’m not actually human. The word some of us use to describe it is “Changed,” or “The Changed.” I was Changed into what I am. What I am is a bit difficult to define. Before I was Changed I was a girl, almost a woman.

I eat food, drink water, need warmth, and protection from the elements. “If you prick us, do we not bleed,” sorry couldn’t resist. And yes we bleed. There’s very little difference between me and any other person really. I heal quickly, seem to have more energy, require less sleep. I’m smarter than most. I know more. Well, I’ve consumed the lives knowledge of countless men. I read minds. My brain must be somehow enhanced: how else can it hold all that knowledge? I don’t age. In exchange for this, I feed off the energy of others. I can’t Change someone: make them like myself. Not intentionally anyway. And yes, over the years, I have tried. I don’t kill people, usually; although I can. I am not immortal - I can and one day will die.

Evelyn White was born with a gift - or rather, a curse: the first time she touches someone, she sees when and how that person dies. Meeting new people is sickening. Walking through a crowd is hell. Not to mention that when she opens her big mouth to tell people what’s going to happen to them, most treat her like she’s crazy - at least until she saves their lives.

Unfortunately, meddling with the future has consequences, and it’s not just Heaven’s ire she’s drawn. As she searches for a way to save the new transfer student from being murdered, a voice starts whispering in her ear. Evelyn’s not crazy; well, not yet, or so she thinks. Someone - or something - lurks in the shadows. Watching. Waiting. Trying to get close using mind games and tricks.

It knows about her powers. It knows she can change Fate.

Worse yet, it’s not alone.

Sydney Sainte-Garde expected to spend his longer than usual summer lounging by a pool in a glitzy hotel or reading by the fireplace at home. However, when his mother must leave to attend a summit in Germany, and with the rest of his family spread far and wide across the world, he’s sent to spend the summer with his cousin Saskia, who unfortunately booked the two of them into a group holiday for “privileged” teens like the two of them.

But things only get worse once he finds out, during a date in Saint Petersburg, that his cousin is actually a vampire and that more of his fellow travelers might conceal similar secrets, his journey takes an unpredictable turn he could’ve never possibly imagined, especially when he finds out someone’s out there, hunting for “monsters” like Saskia and others that will end up becoming the very best friends he’s ever had.

"Monsters is a very confusing word… and it might not apply to the things that go bump in the night, but to the very people you know and love. The question remains, however…

…is being a monster really such a bad thing?"

She doesn’t know the power she has… He’s been watching and waiting… The only thing in his way is the man that’s already claimed her…

“Yes, Mr. Mezzanotte has been expecting you.”

“And what about you?” His flirtations were not lost on her. But she tried her best to keep business and work separate… when it suited her. Right now, did not suit her, Nicolai was not in the best of moods so instead of playing into his hands, she stood to show him in. Oh, she knew she looked good. The forest green pencil skirt hugged her curves, the tan silk blouse was a perfect match for the heels she wore. Today she was going for the sexy soldier look. This morning, she noted how well the colors she chose looked against her dark brown skin and fuchsia lipstick. Because pops of color… duh Just like before, she could feel his eyes on her as she ushered him into the office.
“Mr. Mezzanotte, Mr. Valdron is here to see you.” The smolder Nicolai was wearing bore deep into her being. It was almost like he was disapproving of the conversation she just had. But that was impossible, his door was closed and there was at least five feet from her desk to his door. Valdron had yet to enter the room so looking back, she met his waiting gaze. Just like earlier, she was taken in, finding that Nicolai wasn’t the only man with an atmosphere that she’d like to get lost in.

“Thank you, honeybee.” And just like that she went down the rabbit hole.

Title: Death

Summary: In the small town of Rainsford Falls, a town away from Raven’s Creek is Cardinal Lange. Cardinal was living a normal, average life. Leaving her hometown and to study in a normal college, but she’s much different from the average, normal humans that attend her school.

When she finally does get a glance at her mind’s intruder, she breaks. Her mind completely going haywire with delusional thoughts. She feels him, sees him, and smells him in every inch of her room. Cardinal admits herself into the near by institute, Haleington Psychiatric Institution of Rainsford.

“They didn’t believe me, when I told them you were real.” I trembled. I raised and pointed a shaky finger towards the shadow making itself clear.

“And you were right, I am very real, and here to stay.” He smirked. A devilish smirk that both scared me and for some reason, calmed me. Ever so slightly.

“Who are you?” I asked trying to be stern. He just chuckled and stepped further into the moonlight emitted from the open curtain.

“My name? That’s for me to know.” He smirked even wider. “And for you to find out…”
