The 500 Word Weekend Write-In Discussion Thread

Yeah, quit your whining, young lady; you’re story is up now.

Yes indeed - strict Wattpad policy on whining, as this informative instruction video shows!

Ahh grr… I thought you said WINING, and I just shuffled off to get a glass.

Then came back to see the Downunder damsel is UPover the UK wannabee.
Well-ll. I’ll be…

Did anyone mention the prompter is on board [if not on the favoured list as yet - maybe by Christmas, Paul? In the meantime - [he says!!]

I love how the search algorithm now seems to show different things to different people. I can only see one story.

Good grief! 4:49 worth? Nah, couldn’t manage more that 30 secs and even that was a chore lol

Worst search week ever! Two stories. I think we can safely say, their tag search is busted.

A weekly running link list here might be the best solution. Still do the tags obviously but rely on this page. Was it you or Tom who has listed in the past?

Your friend has done a very entertaining story.

It was me but unfortunately, for the last three weeks I have been mostly limited to my cellphone for access. I have found from experience that trying to post links from that is frustratingly difficult. The good news is that after Thanksgiving, we will be driving back home.

Moving house… Eek! Gargantuan task. You’re excused from weekend write ins until you find your brain wherever you mislaid it in all the shuffle.

Going to catch up on these as I get time. Finally got a couple of older books published.

One is a predecessor to my style of Vampire LitRPG.

The 500 word weekend write-in prompt for Nov 23 2018 is now available:

[The 500 Word Weekend Write-In]

500 words, with a new prompt every Friday. Everybody is welcome!

Ok so I’m not posting this link for general use, but to ask if one of you kind folk could do a link based on it and repost in a list so others that want to, can link to it!

What? You mean like this: ‘Variables’ by Jason Greenfield ?

Now, somebody else can pay the favour forward.

Much obliged John.

Hey there! So, at the risk of sounding “repetitive” my friend was prompted to send me this. She apologised as it is a bit longer than her intended 500 but well, sometimes she gets carried away…

Somebody did - John Nedwill - ‘Run Out Groove’

Told you I’d have the last laugh, Paul - and I DID this week.
Didn’t know Occy was so smart he put the link here by remote control or in some other ghostly fashion, did you?
Look -

My Life as a songster extraordinaire… by Whistler’s Mother

And tyrapendragon’s piece is Repeat

Wow, what a coincidence. I’m hearing an echo of my newly published novel, MINSTREL’S STAFF. Somebody’s weekend write in features a merry minstrel!
