The New and Undiscovered

Just published the first part of my first-ever story a second ago! It’s a dark psychological thriller set in San Francisco. Hope you can check it out!

Don’t be nervous. Can I tell you something? The first story I ever wrote was read by 10 of my closest friends. Only 2 of them loved it. The other 8 hated it, but do you want to know what those other 8 did? They helped me out. 1 became my editor, 2 more helped me do my first 2 book signings, and 1 became my book cover designer. The other 4 continue to read my stories even to this day and they give me pointers.

Oh by the way, the 2 who loved it…

1 is a guy who has had his stories published by various online magazines

The other is an English and Speech professor at a community college

Shoot me what you got and be not afraid.

I love the way you put the translations in at the end of your chapters. Good stuff

You wrote a story about Ireland. How could I not love this? I was in Ireland back in 2015. It was the best vacation I ever took

I am going to let you know I am a HUGE fan of horror anthologies. I use to watch Tales From The Crypt on HBO after my parents went to bed. At work, my coworker and I have had multiple conversations comparing our favorite Twilight Zone episodes.

What you’ve got going is very good. Keep it up

Thank you so much! I appreciate that. I’ve not watched Twilight Zone. Just started out on The X-files earlier this month

I am reading Between Earth and Sky by you. After I am finished with that, I promise I will check out your other work. Chapter 1 is very good. You have definitely hooked me.

Thank you. I really needed the confidence booster. It’s tough sometimes when you get in your own head.

Awww! Thank you! I appreciate it (:

Oh, thank you! And thanks for doing this to help us all out
Here it is:

Sounds good. Shoot me the link so I can check it out. Thank you

Hello !

It seems your thread is more suited for the #share-your-story:story-requests Club. I’ve gone ahead and moved it there for you

Thank you for understanding!

I just published my first chapter tonight! It’s paranormal, so it might not be quite up your alley. It’s about a girl who has died after getting shot at a bar. She’s like in limbo now. I don’t really write too posh lol. If you check it out let me know what you think!!

After a family inheritance and a mysterious fire destroys her home, seventeen-year-old Orion Candor begrudgingly moves to the peculiar town of Crystal Manor. A loner in her hometown, she only wants to blend in - but the one secret about herself won’t let her. Born with unexplainable abilities, she can’t fathom why they begin spiraling out of control, until after a near-death experience. She learns the startling truth about herself: she’s a sorcerer who can wield elemental magic and must attend an elite academy to control her erratic Air powers in the enchanting country, Isoria.

Her new sorcerer friends and professors are fascinated by her intense powers, but she can’t shake the feeling they’re connected to her deceased grandmother, Cordova. A member of a clandestine organization with the goal to destroy Isoria’s malicious king, Cordova had a knack for magnetizing trouble with lethal consequences - and left one in Orion’s hands. It could be the key to liberating this magical and fear-driven world, but also to luring in Cordova’s vengeful foes. The deeper Orion dives into Cordova’s perilous past, the more haunting secrets she uncovers about her family and this world crumbling beneath a cruel crown. Driven by questions and protecting a hidden revelation, Orion soon learns that moving to Crystal Manor and discovering Isoria was not a twist of fate, but someone’s mission - and they’re hunting her.

Ori is an average small-town boy. Or so he thought, until a strange circus appears in his backyard. He meets Blithe, a golden and guileful acrobat who immediately draws Ori in. Accepting her invitation to join the Cirque de Reverie, he is swept up in a whirlwind of wonder. Unbeknownst to him, the circus is not what it seems, and something dark lurks beneath its golden surface.

Two sisters, as opposite as light and dark but as close as the moon and the stars. When one runs away, leaving the younger sister heartbroken, she grapples with the grief and secrets her sister left behind. Something tugs on her heart, forcing her to follow in her sister’s steps, and it is up to her to find a way to save her before it’s too late. But in a circus that thrives on magic, mystery, and manipulation, that task might just be monumental.

Sorry this is late, but here it is:
I also have a new dark fantasy story you could read instead (or in addition to lol)

Hi @AndyLindPulpFiction I’ve none that meet your criteria myself but I found this one that is fantastic. 6 chapters posted and it’s about a teen who gets a new heart and is haunted by the very different recipient. Drama, angst and also some humour.

So far, it’s got under a 100 reads.

Hi there! I’ve got two, both horror. One is less than 500 words, and the other is ongoing, but currently has only six chapters.

Thanks for doing this!

well mine haves more than 100 views but I will still recommend it. It’s teenage drama and it haves what you’re looking for. It also have more than 6 chapters and is currently working. I’ll put on the link. Please go and check it out.

As high school is ending, Lia decides she’s had enough. She wants to live her life on her own terms, and be young and dumb like the rest of her classmates, including her twin brother Aiydan.
