The government of Neo-Tokyo has pretty much absolute power in this city. As history shows, absolute power often leads to corruption. That’s why there’s a need for an opposition that questions the laws of the government.
The opposition stands for freedom, be it freedom of speech or freedom of actions. It will question and bring to attention decisions of the government that threaten basic human rights and it will not stop until all citizens of Neo-Tokyo can feel safe and happy.
P.S. I don’t know whether this will be shut down soon, because it may clash with the rules of this place, but if it is shut down, it just proves my point that the government slit into corruption. Prohibiting other political parties is one of the signs for fascism
