First, there was the Big Bang (or God created everything, or insert another beginning to the universe hereโฆ thatโs really not the point of this thread). Planets formed, stars showed upโฆ it was a whole thing. Anyway, before a star could form into the shining star we see today, it had to first endure as a protostar.
A Protostarโs goal is to be a bright, beautiful star. They strive for it, theyโre dedicated to it, and they will accept nothing less than stardom.
So how do they do this? They work hard every day, gathering mass from their parent molecular cloud (I donโt know what that is in this analogy. Knowledge from Wattpad and other writers? Motivation from our readers? Inspiration from other stars? Iโll let your imagination run wild with that one.)
They keep writing, editing, improving, critiquing, learning, and more. They do everything they can do to become the Stars they deserve to be.

Gather โround, my precious Protostars, for story time with Minx and Laila
Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there was a gathering outside the celestial (because this is the only way I could think of to connect this to Stars 
) kingdom of Wattpad. A group of peasants, commonly called Protostars, stood outside castle walls. They all tried to sneak glimpses of the noble men and women, people they referred to as Stars, who lived just on the other side.
They watched for many months as members of their community transformed before their very eyes. There were whispers of a fairy godmother named Samantha and how she visited these special Protostars. Then, the next day, those very same people would cross the draw-bridge into the kingdom to join the other Stars. The remaining Protostars always watched in awe, wondering, โWhen will that be me?โ
With the help of their Star friends sharing what theyโve learned on the other side of the wall and a little, helpful bearded mouse named Nick, the Protostars got to work on being the best that they could be. They hoped that if they kept learning, improving, and being a genuinely positive and active presence in their community, maybe they would receive a visit from the fairy godmother and cross the draw-bridge themselves one day.
